Casa Cinco Banditos, Rancho Santana, Nicaragua

Casa Cinco Banditos is uniquely laid out 5 bedroom home unlike any other rentals in this area of Nicaragua. Every effort has been made to create a house that has multiple outside and inside spaces to create an easy flow for small or large groups and has everything you could ever need while on vacation. Within the Rancho Santana community there is a full service restaurant (an easy walk or short drive) open every day for breakfast lunch and dinner along with a small market and pulperias (small local shops).

Surf Overview

Nicaragua is a swell magnet for South swells, and has a long season spanning approximately 9 months from March to November. Deep water swell averages 3-5 ft with bigger swells of 6-8 ft occurring regularly especially in peak periods from April-October. Due to the Lago de Nicaragua effect, the wind blows offshore here 330 days per year! With solid South swells and some of the best points, rock reefs and sandbars in Central America, Nicaragua is a recipe for perfection. The Southern Pacific Coastline of Nicaragua is home to some of the world’s most pristine and virgin coastline, an area richly blessed with numerous surf breaks, consistent offshore winds, and golden Pacific sunsets. Waverider's management team are in negotiations with several options in the heart of this surf rich landscape that will provide the ultimate experience for our Waverider Member-Owners and Guests. Locations such as Punta Colorado, Rancho Santana and Las Salinas are locations under review.

Non Surf Activities
Fantastic fishing excursions are available, golf at Hacienda Iguana and horseback riding on the beach. There are plenty of fun local restaurants and you can take time to explore the local towns and fishing villages. Tour the historic town of Granada or visit the volcanoes on Ometepe Island.
